Fiyero turned up at Elphaba's door bang on the dot of seven, his suit freshly pressed. It was his red suit, it did just go so wonderfully with Elphaba. He'd booked a table at the Ozdust Diner, one of the campus' most exquisite eatin establishments. And one of its most expensive.

Fiyero had to use all of his training as a hunter and the benefit of his new size to the extreme to get from his room to Elphaba's. This was absurd, of all the viruses this was the most demeaning. One girl had caught sight of him but had been so busy squealing that he'd slipped away under a rose bush.

He eventually got to Elphaba's room and realized he couldn't reach the handle, and knocking with these stumps of arms would be difficult. He sighed, "Piiii." and took a step backwards.

Elphaba would hear a slow banging from the bottom fo her door.

Fiyero was slightly groggy when he woke up. Was class finished already? He moved to push a bit of hair out of his eyes and found he couldn't move his right hand, and this lack of movement was accompanied with a clink.

He was handcuffed to Elphaba! He jerked upright, probably waking Elphaba as well. In front of him was a note on his desk; in pink pen...

Dear Yero and Elphie

You two seem to have drifted apart a little bit recently and I just CAN'T have my perfect boyfriend and my best friend not talking can I? The handcuffs are magically unbreakable and un-un-lockable and if you complain I'll make them pink and fluffy too!!! Anyway I'm out of town on holiday for the week and I'll take them off when I get back.
